What Is Crown Lengthening?
A crown lengthening procedure is done to expose more of the tooth so that it looks more even in comparison to the gums. During this procedure, the gums will be reshaped and recontoured so that you have a more even looking appearance.
Here at our office, we also offer another procedure called a gum lift. This procedure is similar to a crown lengthening, but it’s a lot less invasive and only takes about 30 minutes on average for it to be completed.
